I trained in London at Westminster Pastoral Foundation and The University of East London and gained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling in 1994 and am accredited and registered with BACP and the Professional Standards Authority.

I have been in private practice for over 20 years and, prior to returning to London 10 years ago, was lead therapist and organiser of Sulis Practice in Bath, and organised workshops for psychotherapists and counsellors.

In addition to my private practice, I also provided counselling to the NHS (prior to th IAPT programme) at a GP Surgery in Bath for 15 years , in Bristol for 3 years, and in London worked at Nightingale Hospital in Lisson Grove, NW1 6SH for 4 years.

I work in accordance with the code of ethics of BACP and I am DBS checked.

Prior to training as a counsellor I worked as a lecturer in adult and further education in Tower Hamlets and Hackney, in London. In the West Country I taught part-time at Wiltshire College on counselling and carework courses in the early days of establishing my private practice.

My interests? I love opera, jazz, theatre and cinema, do yoga, play the flute and walk the coastal paths of Britain, and enjoy watching football.

On Tuesdays and Wednesdays you can find me at 335, City Road, London EC1V 1LJ. Otherwise I am available on line.
