Jan O'Mahony - Counsellor in Bath & Bradford-on-Avon

I trained in London at Westminster Pastoral Foundation and The University of East London and gained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling in 1994 and am accredited with BACP and registered with UKRC.

I have been in private practice for 12 years.

I am a member of Avon Counselling and Psychotherapy Service (ACPS) in Bristol and Bath Counselling Network which both refer clients to me.

In addition to my private practice I also provide counselling to the NHS at a GP Surgery in Bath.

I work in accordance with the code of ethics of BACP.

Prior to training as a counsellor I worked as a lecturer in adult and further education in Tower Hamlets and Hackney, in London. On moving to the West Country I taught part-time at Trowbridge College on counselling and carework courses in the early days of establishing my private practice. I now no longer teach but enjoy running workshops occasionally.
